This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Extreme fire danger will return for areas along and west of I-135
this afternoon.

Thunderstorms are expected to develop around 4 pm along a dryline
and continue into the evening and overnight hours. Some of the
storms could become severe with large hail, damaging winds and
tornadoes. Heavy rain may lead to localized flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Severe thunderstorms are possible again on Wednesday afternoon and
evening, generally southeast of the Kansas Turnpike.

Another vigorous storm system will arrive on Friday bringing the
potential for severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening.

A very high fire danger may return for portions of central Kansas
late in the week.
