This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for much of Central, South-Central
and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A couple of isolated thunderstorms are possible for Southeast Kansas
this evening. There`s a slight chance that thunderstorms may venture
into Southeast Kansas toward daybreak Friday. The thunderstorms
would be neither strong nor severe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Thunderstorms will increase Friday and Friday night, especially in
Southeast Kansas, where a few thunderstorms may produce some small
hail and gusts around 50 mph.

Thunderstorms will greatly increase Saturday and Saturday night.
These thunderstorms will produce very heavy rains across all areas.
The flood and flash flood potential is greatly increasing,
especially along, and east, of a line from around Salina, through
Hutchinson, to around Wichita. Flash Flood Watches and warnings will
likely be issued for these areas for both Saturday and Saturday
night. Significant rises on rivers are also expected and may require
flood warnings. The forecasts for this weekend should be monitored

Thunderstorms, that may produce small hail, gusts around 50 mph and
more heavy rains remain possible for most areas from late Monday
night through Wednesday night.


Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.
