This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Showers and thunderstorms are possible tonight across central and
eastern Kansas, but severe weather is unlikely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Thursday morning showers and storms will dissipate during the mid
to late morning hours.

A few thunderstorms are possible across central Kansas Thursday
afternoon and evening. The strongest storms may produce damaging
winds up to 60 mph.

Gusty south winds and above average temperatures will support very
high grassland fire danger Thursday, Friday and possibly Saturday
across the region.

Shower and thunderstorm chances increase late Saturday afternoon
through Sunday morning across mainly the eastern half of Kansas.
Stay tuned as we continue to refine forecast details in the coming
days.

Sub-freezing temperatures are possible Sunday night into early
Monday. Those with sensitive outdoor plants should continue to
monitor the latest forecast.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.
