This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will exit eastern Kansas early
this morning. The strongest activity will be capable of dime to
quarter size hail and brief wind gusts up to 50 or 60 mph.
Widespread severe weather is not expected.

Gusty northwest winds and low humidity will support very high
grassland fire danger today across much of the region.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Very high grassland fire danger is possible across the area Monday,
and again Thursday and Friday.

Off-and-on chances for showers and thunderstorms are possible
Wednesday night through next weekend. Uncertainty remains high. Stay
tuned as we continue to refine forecast details in the coming days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
