This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms across southern Kansas should dissipate by
noon. A few of the storms may be strong, producing nickel sized hail
and winds to 50 mph. A marginally severe storm cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Forecast heat indices range from 100 to 106 area wide on Saturday
afternoon.

There are periodic storm chances Sunday night through Thursday.
Some strong storms will likely at some point during this period and
a few severe storms are possible. Confidence in timing and location
of the stronger storms is low at this time.

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
