This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion
----------------

There will be a chance for thunderstorms after 3 am tonight east
of a Hays to Larned to Coldwater line. Severe weather is not
expected at this time but a few of the stronger storms may be
capable of producing small hail.

* Non-thunderstorm wind: Limited risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Days 2-7 Discussion
-------------------

There will be a slight chance for marginally severe thunderstorms
near the Oklahoma border Friday evening. Main hazard from these
storms, if they develop, will be Quarter size hail and wind gusts
of 60 mph.

A better chance for severe thunderstorms will occur late Saturday
afternoon and early Saturday night. Some of the strongest storms
will may be capable of producing 2" hail or larger along with
strong damaging winds. A few tornadoes can not be ruled out.
