This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion
----------------

Severe thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and early
tonight. Hail larger than two inches and wind gusts of 60 mph or
stronger will be the main hazards. A few tornadoes can not be
ruled out east northeast of Dodge City.

Low afternoon humidity and gusty winds will create near critical
fire weather conditions today near and west of a Sublette to
Liberal line.

North winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 50 mph or even a little
stronger will be possible early tonight behind a cold front that
will be moving across southwest Kansas.
