This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop after 5 PM across
central and north-central Kansas, and progress east to southeast
into eastern Kansas through the evening. The greatest chance for
storms and associated severe weather will remain generally along
and north of the Highway 56 corridor across central and east-central
Kansas, with more of a conditional threat for severe storms across
south-central and southeast Kansas. The primary hazards will be hail
up to around 2 inches in diameter, and damaging wind gusts up to
around 70 mph. The overall tornado threat should remain low,
although an isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out. The severe
threat should diminish after midnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Thunderstorm chances could increase again by late week and next
weekend.

Spotter activation may be needed this evening.
