This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A few isolated showers or thunderstorms are possible later this
evening through tonight. Most locations will remain dry, and severe
weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A few isolated showers or thunderstorms will remain possible across
the area Thursday through Thursday evening. The strongest activity
Thursday afternoon and evening will be capable of brief heavy rain
and gusty winds, mainly across southeast Kansas. Most locations will
remain dry.

There is some potential for strong to severe thunderstorms Saturday
afternoon and night across the region. Stay tuned for later
forecasts as details become clearer.

Dangerous heat is expected to return Saturday through at least early
next week, with afternoon heat indices in the 100 to 105 degree
range.
