Please be mindful of anything that can cause a spark. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Very high grassfire danger is forecast areawide Saturday and Sunday, as gusty winds overlap with low humidity. Pockets of very high grassfire danger are possible again on Thursday. There is a chance for thunderstorms Saturday evening and night across eastern Kansas, mainly along and east of the Flint Hills. A few storms may be strong to marginally severe, capable of dime to quarter size hail. Shower and thunderstorm chances could increase by Wednesday night and Thursday across the region. Uncertainty remains high surrounding these chances, so stay tuned for later forecasts. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly.
