This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Elevated excessive heat risk.


Heat index values will reach the middle 90s to low 100s in some
locations again this afternoon.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms will begin this afternoon
and increase later tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Heat index values will reach the middle 90s to low 100s again on
Tuesday in the southwest portion of Missouri into southeast

Showers and thunderstorms will continue through Wednesday. One to
two inches of widespread rainfall will be possible through
Wednesday, with isolated amounts over 3 inches possible.


  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
