...Prepare for Summer Heat the First Week of June...

The first multi-day period of heat is expected Tuesday June 2nd
through Friday June 5th. Each day, afternoon high temperatures in
Kansas City and surrounding communities will have a chance to
reach the lower 90s with heat index values in the lower to mid
90s.

Please take this time to review what actions you will need to take
to keep cool when the heat builds in and the threat of extreme
heat increases this summer.

Stay aware of future messaging from the Health Department
regarding heat safety and of potential Heat Advisories and or
Warnings issued by the National Weather Service.
