This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest...north central and
west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Widespread storms are expected to form late Saturday afternoon over
NE KS and NW Missouri. Some of the storms may be strong to severe
with damaging winds and large hail being the main threat initially.
These storms will have high rainfall rates which could quickly lead
to flash flooding if an area gets multiple storms. These storms
will slowly track eastward leaving a widespread 3 to 5 inches of
rainfall over the area along and south of I-70.

More detailed information can be accessed at...

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and frequent lightning will remain
over the area Sunday morning into the afternoon as a line of storms
pushes through the area. Storms look to finally move out of the
 area by late Sunday afternoon.

Another round of storms are possible late Wednesday through
Thursday which could bring more severe weather and possible flooding
concerns back to the region.
