...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH LATE
SATURDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...All of western Kentucky, New Madrid and Mississippi
  counties in southeast Missouri, Massac, Pope, and Hardin counties
  in southern Illinois, and Spencer county in southwest Indiana.

* WHEN...From late Friday night through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are forecast, with
    localized higher amounts up to 6 inches possible. Soils are
    already saturated across the region, so this rain could lead
    to significant flooding impacts through the weekend. Rises on
    area rivers are expected as well.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
