This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Very hot and humid conditions are anticipated today with heat
index values up to 105. A Heat Advisory is in effect for parts of
the area.

Scattered thunderstorms are forecast in the afternoon. Isolated
severe storms are possible with locally damaging winds the primary
concern.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Hot and humid conditions are forecast through Thursday with heat
index values over 105 possible. Another cool front will bring
showers and storms with a risk for heavy rain and strong
thunderstorms once again Thursday night into Friday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report instances of heavy rainfall,
flooding, or damaging winds to the National Weather Service in
Paducah.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, including the following
  areas, Edwards, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jefferson,
  Johnson, Perry IL, Pope, Saline, Wabash, Wayne IL, White and
  Williamson, southwest Indiana, including the following areas,
  Gibson, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick, and western
  Kentucky, including the following areas, Caldwell, Calloway,
  Christian, Crittenden, Daviess, Henderson, Hopkins, Livingston,
  Lyon, Marshall, McLean, Muhlenberg, Todd, Trigg, Union KY and
  Webster.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
