This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.

   Wind Advisory.

Gusty winds outside of thunderstorms will gust over 40 mph today and
this evening.

Gusty thunderstorm winds and isolated tornadoes will be possible
early this morning and again this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are requested to report any flooding or weather-related
damage today and tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Storms this afternoon and evening will move to the north-northeast at
40 to 50 mph.

Any users of this storm motion must be aware that thunderstorm activity
can be erratic and constantly evolving.  Please use this with caution
and be prepared for changing conditions.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM CDT /1130 PM EDT/ THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following
  counties, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Grayson, Hancock, Hardin, Hart,
  Larue, Meade, Nelson, Ohio and Spencer.

* WHEN...Until 1030 PM CDT /1130 PM EDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may
  become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 436 PM CDT /536 PM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
    rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and
    2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Elizabethtown, Bardstown, Shepherdsville, Tell City,
    Leitchfield, Hodgenville, Hartford, Brandenburg, Hardinsburg
    and Pioneer Village.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana and central Kentucky,
  mainly west of Interstate 65.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
