Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue this afternoon and evening before diminishing after sunset. Heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and cloud to ground lightning will be the main hazards with thunderstorms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected through the upcoming period. Thunderstorms will be capable of producing torrential rainfall, gusty winds, and lightning. Heavy rainfall rates may lead to localized flash flooding. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotters may be needed to report flooding and strong thunderstorm wind gusts on Thursday. GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: Storms this afternoon and evening will move from west-southwest to east-northeast at 25 to 30 mph.
