...Patchy Dense Fog This Morning...

The combination of partly clear skies, moist soils, and light
winds has set the stage for some patchy dense fog across the
region this morning. Fog is most likely near river valleys and
bodies of water.

If traveling early this morning, slow down, use low beam
headlights, and leave plenty of distance between yourself and
other vehicles. Be prepared for rapid changes in visibility. The
fog should burn off by mid to late morning.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Patchy dense fog is occurring this morning, mostly along river
valleys and near bodies of water. Watch for reduced visibilities for
the morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

There is a chance of thunderstorms across the outlook area Thursday
afternoon and evening. Some of these storms could be strong to
severe.

Spotter activation may be needed Thursday.
