Corbin, Williamsburg, Barbourville, Middlesboro, Pineville,
Cumberland, Harlan, Sandy Hook, West Liberty, Paintsville, Campton,
Salyersville, Prestonsburg, Wheelwright, Beattyville, Jackson,
Hindman, Pippa Passes, Booneville, Hazard, Manchester, Hyden,

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Patchy frost will be possible late tonight within our sheltered
western and southern valley locations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Patchy frost will be possible Thursday morning within our sheltered
western and southern valleys locations.

Rains from the remnants of Hurricane Ian are expected to begin
impacting eastern Kentucky Friday night and continuing through the
weekend. There is also a potential for thunderstorms on Saturday
afternoon. Event total rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches will be
possible along the Virginia border, decreasing as you head further
north and west.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
