Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1238 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Danville, Stanford, Lancaster, Mccreary, Junction City, Crab Orchard, Perryville, Hustonville, Stuart Powell Field Airport and Caldwell Manor. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Scattered thunderstorms will again be possible this afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and cloud to ground lightning will be the main threats with the strongest storms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Scattered thunderstorms are expected each afternoon and evening. These storms will be capable of producing lightning, localized gusty damaging winds, and brief heavy rainfall. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time. GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: Storms are expected to move from west to east at 10 to 15 mph this afternoon and evening.
