This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Some light snow or snow flurries are possible late tonight across
southern Indiana and into north-central Kentucky. A dusting to
perhaps a half inch is possible for some.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A more impactful winter storm will move into the region Tuesday night
and Wednesday producing significant amounts of snowfall. A Winter
Storm Warning has been issued for much of central Kentucky south of
the I-64 corridor.

...Light Snow Expected Tuesday Morning...

A brief period of light snow and flurries is expected across
southern Indiana and the northern half of Kentucky Tuesday
morning. Snowfall amounts are expected to be very light with a
dusting to perhaps a few tenths of an inch. Despite the light
amounts, this snow combined with cold temperatures may result in
slick spots on roads for the Tuesday morning commute. Motorists
are urged to use caution while traveling late tonight and Tuesday
morning.

  Kentucky River at Lockport Lock affecting Henry, Owen and Carroll
  Counties.

  Kentucky River at High Bridge Lock affecting Mercer, Jessamine
  and Garrard Counties.

  Kentucky River at Ford Lock affecting Madison and Clark Counties.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Dix Drive begins to flood.
  At 30.0 feet, Large portion of Dix Drive floods.
  At 36.0 feet, Water enters homes along Dix Drive.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM EST Monday the stage was 34.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 38.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM EST Monday was 37.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 36.1
    feet early Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage late Thursday evening.
  - Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
