...Elevated Wildfire Danger This Afternoon and Evening...

The combination of southerly winds gusting 30 to 40 mph and
relative humidity in the 20 to 30 percent range will continue to
lead to an elevated risk of wildfires through this evening. The
strongest winds should be near and west of Interstate 75.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.

Winds will be gusty at times through early this evening, with gusts
of 25 to 35 mph expected.

There is an elevated risk of wildfires this afternoon due to dry
conditions combined with the gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thunderstorms will be possible Sunday evening into late Sunday night.
