At 909 PM EDT/809 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 14 miles north of
Springfield to 11 miles south of Morgantown. Movement was east at 55
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Bowling Green, Glasgow, Bardstown, Campbellsville, Harrodsburg,
Lebanon, Hodgenville, Springfield, Greensburg, and Munfordville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
