...Slick Spots on Area Roads and Very Cold Conditions This Morning...

Temperatures have fallen into the single digits across much of
eastern Kentucky this morning. This will lead to slick spots on
any untreated roads. Meanwhile, wind chills have fallen to near
zero degrees at times this morning, and could drop below zero in
some locations at times early this morning. If going outside
this morning, limit your exposure time and make sure you are
dressed appropriately for the bitter cold. If you have outdoor
pets, bring them inside if possible or make sure they have a warm
place to stay with food and water, and are not overly exposed to
the extreme cold.
