The combination of drying fuels, southwesterly winds gusting to between 15 and 25 mph, and relative humidity bottoming out in the 27 to 32 percent range will result in an increased risk of wildfires through this evening. The strongest winds will generally be near and west of Interstate 75 and also near and north of Interstate 64, while the lowest humidities will be in the more eastern and southern parts of the area. Remember that Kentucky regulations make it illegal to burn between the hours of 6 AM and 6 PM EDT within 150 feet of any woodland or brushland during the Spring Forest Fire Hazard Season. $$ JP/GREIF

Gusty winds, drying fuels, and humidity dropping below 30 percent in most locations will result in an increased risk of wildfires this afternoon and into the evening. Frost is possible for most places late tonight along with a few spots seeing temperatures falling to around freezing. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Frost or freezing temperatures are possible early Sunday morning and again Wednesday night into Thursday morning - mainly for valley locations. There is a possibility of thunderstorms from Sunday afternoon into Sunday night, especially along and west of I-75. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
