This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest and north central
Louisiana and for deep east Texas and northeast Texas along I-20.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible along and
south of I-20 toward daybreak on Friday as an upper disturbance
moves over East Texas and Louisiana with an approaching cold
front. Some of the stronger thunderstorms may produce small hail
with no other hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...

Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase into Friday, and
remain through the weekend with an initial backdoor cold front
becoming stationary. Some of this rain will be moderate to heavy
at times as the Gulf moisture piles up on the boundary. This
shower and thunderstorm activity will finally clear out on Sunday
with the next much stronger cold front. Behind this second cold
front, Monday morning will be mid 30s, but Tuesday daybreak will
see well below freezing and by far the coldest so far this year
with mid to upper 20s.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of emergency management personnel, amateur radio
operators and storm spotters should not be needed. Please relay
any information about observed small hail to the NWS while
following all local, state, and CDC guidelines.
