This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest
Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will spread into extreme Southeast
Oklahoma, Northeast Texas, and Southwest Arkansas ahead of a cold
front Friday morning. Locally gusty winds and brief heavy
rainfall will be possible over these areas Friday morning, with
embedded thunderstorms possible along the front during the
afternoon across East Texas, Northwest Louisiana, and Southwest
Arkansas. Isolated to scattered showers and a few thunderstorms
will be possible Monday across much of the area, as another cold
front enters the region. These showers and isolated thunderstorms
will increase Tuesday and Wednesday near and behind the front
ahead of an upper level disturbance that will enter the Southern
Plains around midweek. However, the threat for strong to severe
thunderstorms appear low at this time.


Activation of emergency management personnel...amateur radio
operators...and storm spotters will not be needed through tonight.
