...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM
CST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 27 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, southwest and west
  central Louisiana and southeast Texas.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 8 AM CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
  plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.

...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM CST
TUESDAY...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Louisiana, south
central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west central Louisiana and
southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A cold front will sweep through the area today with high pressure
building into the area. Freezing temperatures are expected tonight
with lows in the upper 20s north to the lower 30s south.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Early morning freezing conditions will rebound nicely through the day
Tuesday as southerly flow returns ahead of the next storm system
expected on Wednesday. A frontal boundary will move through the area
Wednesday bringing additional moderate rains which should end by
early Thursday morning. High pressure will follow Thursday though
Sunday.
