This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Louisiana, south central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west
central Louisiana, and southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue across the area
through early this evening before waning with the setting sun.
Brief periods of heavy rain will be possible with some storms, but
severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
Upper level ridging moving into the area from east to west on
Sunday will suppress precipitation across much of acadiana.
However, storms will develop around the periphery of the ridge
across parts of southeast Texas.

Mostly dry conditions will prevail through the middle of the week
with precipitation chances increasing once again late this week as
the upper ridge breaks down and deeper gulf moisture moves over
the region.

Spotter activation is not anticipated.
