This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Louisiana, south
central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana and west central Louisiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Widely scattered to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected,
mainly during the afternoon. Showers and storms will diminish during
the evening hours. Occasional cloud to ground lightning and gusty
winds will be the main concerns.

Hot and humid conditions are also expected with the max afternoon
heat index or apparent temperature between 102F and 108F degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorm coverage will gradually increase during the period,
mainly in the late morning to afternoon. The main concern will be
occasional cloud to ground lightning and brief gusty winds.

In addition, hot and humid conditions can be expected again on
Thursday as well as Friday. Max afternoon heat index or apparent
temperatures are expected to be between 102F and 108F degrees.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
