Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon into early this evening. Chances for showers and thunderstorms increase after midnight for areas across Inland Southeast Texas and Central Louisiana. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Numerous showers and thunderstorms can be expected for most of Monday. A Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 4) for excessive rainfall continues for most of the area. Some thunderstorms possibly reaching severe limits, with damaging winds the primary weather threat. A Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for severe thunderstorms covers most of Western and Southwest Louisiana into all of Southeast Texas for Monday. Lingering chances of showers and thunderstorms continue into Tuesday as a weak frontal boundary sags south.
