This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Louisiana, south
central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west central Louisiana and
southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated to scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms are
possible. No severe thunderstorms are expected at this time, but
stronger thunderstorms will be capable of producing locally heavy
rainfall, frequent lightning, small hail, and gusty winds.

Afternoon heat index values are expected to average around 105
degrees today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Isolated to scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms expected
once again Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, with slightly lower
chances on Thursday. By Friday into the weekend, the chance for more
widespread rainfall will increase with a potential disturbance moving
up from the Bay of Campeche.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
