This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Louisiana, south central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west
central Louisiana, and southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Scattered to numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms will
continue to move from east to west across the region this
afternoon and evening primarily along and south of the I-10
corridor. Brief periods of heavy rainfall and gusty winds will be
possible with some of these storms. Overall coverage will
gradually decrease overnight.

Persistent easterly winds may result in nuisance coastal flooding
during periods of high tide tonight and tomorrow morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected Tuesday
and Wednesday as an upper low moves west across the northern gulf
into east Texas. Periods of heavy rain will have the potential to
lead to localized flash flooding. The highest precipitation
values and potential for flash flooding will be across Jefferson,
Hardin and Orange counties in southeast Texas although the threat
for flooding will exist anywhere along and south of the I-10
corridor. Severe weather is not anticipated.

Precipitation will become more scattered Thursday through the
weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not anticipated.
