* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, southwest winds to 30 kt
  and significant waves to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft expected.
  For the Gale Watch, northwest winds to 40 kt and significant
  waves to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft possible.

* WHERE...Winthrop Harbor to Calumet Harbor IL, and Calumet
  Harbor IL to Gary IN.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 6 PM this evening to
  3 PM CST Wednesday. For the Gale Watch, from Wednesday
  afternoon through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
