This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Winds increase again out of the southwest late this afternoon and
tonight with gusts of 20 to around 30 knots and increasing wave
heights, leading to hazardous conditions for smaller vessels.
There is also a 30 percent chance for gale-force wind gusts from
Taconite Harbor to Grand Portage tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Hazardous conditions continue into Friday night as winds shift
out of the northwest to north behind a passing cold front.

Additional hazardous conditions may return Saturday night into
Monday as an area of low pressure moves eastward across the
region.

* WHAT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 25 kt and
  waves 1 to 3 ft expected.

* WHERE...Taconite Harbor to Silver Bay Harbor MN and Silver Bay
  Harbor to Two Harbors MN.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 7 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
