Strong south to southeast winds are expected to develop this afternoon into early evening, with some gusts possibly approaching or exceeding 45 MPH especially for areas east of the Hudson Valley. If confidence increases a Wind Advisory would be issued. A period of moderate to heavy rain could lead to localized minor flooding in some urban and poor drainage areas late this afternoon into early tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Strong gusty winds are possible on Friday behind a cold frontal passage. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
