Total snow/sleet accumulations of less than inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze. Light accumulations of freezing rain in the advised areas is the greatest concern. * WHERE...Portions of central, eastern, northeastern and western Massachusetts. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 2 AM EST Wednesday. Freezing rain will impact communities in western MA between 7PM and 10 PM, moving into central MA between 9PM and 11PM, and finally impacting eastern/northeastern MA between 10 PM and Midnight. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the tail end of the evening commute in far western MA. Precipitation is not expected until after the evening commute across central and western MA. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... There is potential for this advisory to be expanded into northern Connecticut, northern Rhode Island, and portions of coastal Massachusetts (including Boston). Confidence is high that mixed precipitation will impact these areas in the form of snow/sleet/and or rain, but confidence is low in the freezing rain potential. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
