...A BAND OF MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW...

At 154 AM EST, a band of moderate snow was located over Mansfield,
or near North Attleborough, moving north at 40 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Boston, Worcester, Providence, Lowell, Cambridge, Brockton, Quincy,
Lynn, Newton, Somerville, Pawtucket, Framingham, Waltham, Malden,
Brookline, Plymouth, Medford, Taunton, Weymouth and Revere.

Roads could become briefly snow covered and some locations could
pick up a quick inch or two of snow. Untreated surfaces may become
icy overnight as air temperatures rise and precipitation turn to
rain, but before ground temperatures rise above freezing. Use extra
caution if traveling overnight.

MONDAY...

* WHAT...One half foot to one foot of inundation above ground
  level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
  waterways (4.4 to 12.1 feet Mean Lower Low Water).

* WHERE...Barnstable MA, Dukes MA and Nantucket MA Counties.

* WHEN...From 9 AM to 1 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Minor coastal flooding begins on Easy Street in
  Nantucket.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO NOON EST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Southeast winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph
  expected. Highest winds from outer Cape Cod to Cape Ann.

* WHERE...Eastern Essex MA, Suffolk MA, Eastern Norfolk MA,
  Eastern Plymouth MA, Barnstable MA, Dukes MA and Nantucket MA
  Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to noon EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down tree limbs and power
  lines. Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
