...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* WHERE...The District of Columbia, much of Maryland and northern
  Virginia, and the eastern panhandle of West Virginia.

* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern West
Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Wind Advisory is in effect for areas along and west of the Blue
Ridge Mountains, as well as areas along and north of Interstate 66
and Highway 50 through midnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

There is a moderate flooding threat on Friday.

Damaging wind gusts are possible especially over the higher
elevations Thursday night into Friday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
