This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible ahead of a cold front
late this afternoon into tonight. These storms may cause locally
damaging wind gusts as well as an isolated tornado.

Isolated instances of flooding are possible late this afternoon
and this evening due to locally heavy rain from thunderstorms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A Gale Warning is in effect for the middle Chesapeake Bay and
adjacent waters from Tuesday afternoon through late Tuesday
night.

There is a slight severe thunderstorm and flooding threat on
Friday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be required this afternoon into tonight.
