This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast Maryland, central
Virginia, east central Virginia, eastern Virginia, north central
Virginia and southeast Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible late this
afternoon and this evening. The main threat will be from strong
damaging wind gusts, with hail also possible. Any storm will be
capable of producing heavy downpours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Scattered strong thunderstorms will be possible on Wednesday,
primarily during the afternoon and early evening hours.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...A FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL STREAMS REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 AM
EDT TUESDAY FOR SOUTHWESTERN WORCESTER COUNTY...

At 1006 PM EDT, water levels are slowly falling along Nassawango
Creek and the Pocomoke River, but flooding continues in the area.
Several roads remain closed near Snow Hill including portions of
Highway 12.  Drivers should continue to avoid roadways that are
closed due to flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
