This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Central Highlands Maine, Far
Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine and North Woods Maine.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A moderate accumulation of heavy, wet snow is likely Thursday into
Thursday night across portions of far northern Maine. Areas north of
a line extending from Baxter State Park to Houlton have the greatest
chance of a moderate snow accumulation. The combination of
increasing snowfall rates and temperatures falling below freezing
Thursday evening could lead to slippery road conditions across these
areas.

Low pressure will develop along the coast Saturday night, bringing
another potential for widespread snowfall. At this time the greatest
chances for heavier snowfall accumulation and gusty winds are across
central and Downeast Maine.

Please check back for forecast updates and possible winter weather
watches, warnings, or advisories with these systems.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather
conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures.
