This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Central Highlands Maine, Far
Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine and North Woods Maine.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Very cold wind chills are expected tonight. Wind chills to around 20
to 25 below zero are expected, increasing the risk for hypothermia
or frostbite to exposed skin.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Even colder wind chills and temperatures are expected late Friday
through Monday. Wind chills should bottom out around 35 below zero
for much of Northern Maine, and it will remain bitterly cold for
several days. This should be a cold outbreak of the magnitude we
typically see only every few years.
