Northwest winds will strengthen behind a strong cold front today with the potential for a few gusts to around 40 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Another low pressure system will bring a period of mostly rain this weekend. However, precipitation may begin as a period of snow, especially in the mountains where light accumulations are possible. A brief period of freezing rain could also occur in the mountains Friday night.
