...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Maine, south central Maine,
southwest Maine, central New Hampshire and southern New Hampshire.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

   Dense Fog Advisory.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A storm system will move through the region Thursday into Friday and
bring a widespread rainfall to the area. While timing of the
heaviest rain is still uncertain, total rainfall amounts are
expected to be between one and two inches. This may be enough to
cause some localized flooding in areas prone to poor drainage.

...AREAS OF DENSE FOG THIS MORNING...

.Moisture moving in off the Gulf of Maine has led to areas of fog
along the coast. This fog will likely cover much of the coastal
plain this morning. Expect fog to disperse between 7 and 10 AM
for most areas, but it could linger longer near the coast.

* Visibility...One quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing...Through Wednesday morning.

* Impacts...Dense fog will reduce visibility and make driving
  difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
