...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM WEDNESDAY TO 4 AM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Hancock and Coastal Washington Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Wednesday to 4 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and powerlines.
  Numerous to widespread power outages are likely. Travel will
  be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

   High Wind Warning.

Significant rainfall is likely Wednesday into Wednesday night,
followed by a flash freeze and light accumulating snowfall early
Thursday morning which could make travel hazardous for the Thursday
morning commute. Strong gusty winds are possible during the day on
Thursday.
