This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Upper
Michigan and western Upper Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Low relative humidities down into 20 percents and breezy southerly
winds are expected over the interior east half this afternoon.

South to southeasterly wind gusts as high as 35 to 40 mph are
possible this afternoon, with the highest winds expected along the
southerly downslopes along Lake Superior at Copper Harbor and from
Big Bay to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Widespread rainfall is expected late today through tonight. Rain
and snowmelt will lead to rises on area rivers and possible minor
flooding on typically flood-prone rivers.

Thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon through tonight. A
few strong storms cannot be completely ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Widespread rainfall is expected into Friday evening. Rain and
snowmelt will lead to rises on area rivers and possible minor
flooding on typically flood-prone rivers.

Thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon and evening.
