This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Upper
Michigan and western Upper Michigan.

With daytime highs warming well above freezing towards the end of
the month, ice conditions on interior lakes and rivers are
becoming increasingly dangerous.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

With daytime highs warming well above freezing towards the end of
the month, ice conditions on interior lakes and rivers are
becoming increasingly dangerous.

Potential is increasing for impactful winter weather Friday
through Sunday. The main hazards are freezing rain and
accumulating snow. Details are uncertain but those with travel
plans should monitor the forecast.

...WINTRY MIX POSSIBLE FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH THIS WEEKEND...

An incoming storm system is expected to bring a wintry mix of
rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow across the U.P. beginning
Friday morning. The precipitation type is expected to be freezing
rain and rain Friday, before transitioning over to mainly
freezing rain with possibly some sleet Friday night into Saturday
morning.

Heavy, wet snowfall could be seen over the area late Saturday
through Sunday as the second half of the system moves through.

Some power outages will be possible and expect slick roadways.
