Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Marquette MI 455 AM EST Sun Jan 29 2023 MIZ006-007-085-301200- Alger-Luce-Northern Schoolcraft- 455 AM EST Sun Jan 29 2023 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Upper Michigan. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Lake effect snow showers, mainly near Lake Superior to the east of Munising, may produce several inches of snow accumulation by sunrise on Monday. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Persistent lake effect snows showers are expected Sunday through Friday though there will be a break in the snowfall on Tuesday. The snow showers will also occur mainly near Lake Superior to the east of Munising. Expect moderate snow accumulations at times, leading to hazardous travel conditions at times. Plan on a cold week. The coldest conditions are expected Monday night into Tuesday morning. Wind chills of around 20 below zero will be possible. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
