Accumulating lake effect snow will continue across the snow belts of eastern upper and northwest lower Michigan through Tuesday night. Additional snow accumulations through Tuesday morning of 2 to 6 inches, with locally heavier amounts possible. Local whiteout conditions are expected. * WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan. * WHEN...Until noon EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact this evenings and Tuesday morning commutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside.
